Architectural Traineeship | Build The Way | London

Build The Way is a nine-month entry-level architecture traineeship providing an alternative and accessible route into a career designing and making buildings, spaces, cities, and communities.

Build The Way offers several traineeship placements to young Londoners aged, 18 to 25, at a selection of different Architecture Practices in London.

Each trainee is paid the London Living Wage for a 32-hour week, with an additional 1 day a week for their professional practice and to undertake an EPQ at the London School of Architecture.

With no experience-based barriers to application, places are offered to those who can show a passion for design and cities.

Over 9 months, trainees learn the fundamentals of architecture, including how to effectively communicate their thoughts and illustrate ideas. Trainees also develop key transferable professional qualities such as time management, strategic thinking, and communication skills.

Please note. The 2025 intake programme will start in October 2025, with applications opening in July 2025.
