Trustee Voluntary | Build Up | London

Build Up is excited to be recruiting new trustees to join our existing board and support our organisation's growth.

What we’re looking for

We’re expanding our small committed board (currently 3 Trustees) to support Build Up’s next stage of development. We’re looking for people with a range of skills and work/lived experience to support us on this journey over the next 3 years.

The role

Build Up is governed by a volunteer board of Trustees - a committee made up of individuals with relevant personal and professional experience to our work. Trustees hold overall responsibility for our activities and act as the final decision makers to whom our management team reports. We are committed to representation and strongly encourage applicants from all backgrounds and walks of life to reflect the young people we support.

Who we are

Build Up’s purpose is to empower young people to shape where they live, and make decisions about London’s built environment representative of its communities. We do this by running projects that put young people in control of the design and construction of permanent public and community spaces.
