As we continue to expand our reach, we are seeking experienced and passionate Freelance Facilitators to join our team.
Responsibilities
Facilitation: Lead virtual or in-person workshops, meetings, and training sessions with diverse groups of participants. Employ various facilitation techniques to encourage active participation, creativity, and effective problem-solving.
Content Delivery: Deliver content clearly and engagingly, ensuring that participants grasp key concepts and achieve learning objectives. Adapt delivery methods to suit different learning styles and audience needs.
Collaboration: Work closely with clients and internal teams to understand their objectives, customize facilitation approaches, and create a positive and productive learning environment.
Adaptability: Demonstrate flexibility in adapting to different topics, industries, and client requirements. Adjust facilitation style based on the unique needs of each session.
Feedback Integration: Collect and analyze participant feedback to continuously improve facilitation techniques, content, and overall program effectiveness.
Technology Proficiency: Utilize virtual collaboration tools and technology platforms to facilitate remote sessions effectively. Ensure a seamless and interactive experience for all participants.
Time Management: Manage session timelines effectively, balancing content delivery with interactive activities and discussions to maximize engagement.
Requirements
Experience: Proven experience as a facilitator, preferably in a freelance capacity. Experience across various industries is a plus. Experience of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion is essential. Knowledge of tech, construction and engineering sectors is desirable.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to articulate ideas clearly and concisely.
Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and establish a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Adaptability: Comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Ability to adapt quickly to changing client needs and expectations.
Tech savvy: Proficient in using virtual collaboration tools such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, or other similar platforms. Presentation software, and graphics.
Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills. Ability to navigate unexpected challenges during facilitation.
Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field is preferred, but not mandatory. Demonstrated experience and expertise are equally valued.
